Fugitive Shooter in Chandauli Trader Murder Sparks Public Outrage as Manhunt Enters Day 16

Sixteen days after the murder of trader Rohitash Pal in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, public anger is rising as the main shooter remains untraced. The Rashtr Uday Party has submitted a memorandum to the SP demanding swift action, while residents urge police to arrest the accused and restore confidence in law enforcement.

Public anger is intensifying in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli district as police continue to search for the gunman accused of killing local businessman Rohitash Pal. Sixteen days after the attack, the prime suspect remains at large, fueling frustration among residents who say the lack of progress has shaken their sense of security.

The incident has drawn the attention of political groups as well. On Monday, the national president of the Rashtr Uday Party visited the Superintendent of Police’s office and formally submitted a memorandum urging swift and decisive action. The delegation demanded that officers accelerate the investigation and ensure the immediate capture of the accused so that legal proceedings can move forward without delay.

Locals echoed these demands, stating that the prolonged absence of an arrest has deepened public anxiety. They stressed that only a prompt breakthrough in the case will restore confidence in law enforcement. Police officials have not yet released updated details about the investigation, but pressure continues to mount as the community calls for justice for the slain trader.

The unresolved case has become a flashpoint in the district, highlighting concerns over public safety and the urgency of a more forceful police response. For many residents, the arrest of the shooter is not only a matter of justice but a necessary step toward re-establishing law and order in the region.
